Until We Meet Again is a positive affirmation of life and being a part of people's lives. During this year marking my 50th birthday, this song perfectly represents the album as a whole because both the video and all the fun it exudes represent Kaz Hawkins in what she is: a loving and empathetic person, a bit eccentric and a storyteller. Having experienced so much pain in my life, I have reached a point where I no longer want to stress myself out. For the serious side, there are my ballads, while the more upbeat tracks invite you to let go. Not really knowing where I fit in terms of genres, this album is a mosaic of my talent. Above all, I am a stage performer, which is why studio sessions are always a bit complicated for me. I need the audience; they are my reason for living, and our interaction is what guides me. In my eyes, this album has three parts. First, there are the ballads, which is what I am best known for. Then come my Celtic roots, which are more present in my music, more in the form of "Belfast Sound" than Irish music as we know it. Next comes the "Blues Mama" facet with a big sound, ripping guitar solos, and powerful vocal parts. I wanted to represent all these facets on one single disc, and that’s what this album achieves. It truly is a band’s album because all my musicians were very involved in its creation to wonderfully succeed in this musical mosaic. I hope people will understand that our goal is simply to entertain them by taking them with us on a journey through our love of music.
