The Labèque Sisters return with an album entirely dedicated to the American composer Bryce Dessner, founder and guitarist of the rock band The National. A worthy heir to American minimalist music and endorsed by Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and John Adams, Bryce Dessner composed a concerto for two pianos for the two sisters, recorded in partnership with France Musique alongside the Orchestre de Paris at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2018. The album is completed by the piece El Chan for two pianos and Haven for two guitars and two pianos. Dedicated to director Alejandro Gonzales Iñárritu (The Revenant, Babel...), the album cover was created by him.
