Songs For Cabriolet

Description

Originally released in 2000, Karl Zéro's debut album, a little pop treasure, has become a cult classic. Paying homage to the intoxicating cocktail music, space age pop, and exotica of the late fifties, it features 13 tangy treats, cha cha chas, and other deliciously vintage ritmos locos. Produced by Karl Zéro and Alexandre Desplat, the host-singer cleverly blends poetry and humor, enlisting Henri Salvador, Daisy d’Errata, and Éric Laugérias, following in the footsteps of Marino Marini, Xavier Cugat, and Mikis Theodorakis. Finally, as a musical UFO, the album has accompanied one of the most memorable episodes of the X Files series and achieved international success.
