Humanist misanthrope, artisan-artist, cat punk... Kalune sings about ecology and civic engagement. The artist stands halfway between resistance and utopia. The resistance he deems necessary to halt the massive machine that is capitalism, which destroys everything in its path. And utopia to propose something else, another world, another way of being, another relationship with the living and with our surroundings. He cannot conceive of making music without giving meaning to his art. After several group projects, including an album with Les Gueules de WaB, Kalune wanted his first solo album to reflect himself. With this debut album, the artist takes us by the hand and leads us through all the subjects that are close to his heart. His social commitment, his commitment in general, and his openly esoteric side. He speaks to us of doubt, passion, kindness, and struggles. In parallel, and always in the logic of giving voice to a silent nature, Kalune continues to regularly perform militant slams and denounces ecological injustices. On endangered forests, polluting companies, rivers littered with illegal dumps, the artist strives to put his rhymes in service of causes he believes are just.
