Recorded in 1975, Introducing is an overlooked gem from the early days of Japanese fusion. Accompanied by an exceptional rhythm section featuring drummer Shuichi "Ponta" Murakami and bassist Rei Ohara, Jun Fukamachi showcases the full richness of his analog synthesizers, while guitarist Kenji Omura brings remarkable intensity with his inspired solos. The highlight of the album is the impressive "Bamboo Bong," a jazz-funk epic of about fourteen minutes that showcases the group's virtuosity and creativity.
