The American rock band JOURNEY is back after 10 years!
Since the formation of the band in 1973, JOURNEY has won 25 gold and platinum albums, and has sold nearly 100 million albums worldwide. Their album "Greatest Hits" is certified 15 times platinum, making JOURNEY one of the few bands to have been certified diamond, and their song "Don't Stop Believin" has been listened to over a billion times alone. JOURNEY was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017, and the 2018 co-headlining tour with DEF LEPPARD was the band's most successful tour to date, placing them in the Top 10 of tours with over a million tickets sold. This earned them the prestigious Billboard touring award "Legends Of Live." While the upcoming album was conceived with visions of arena and stadium stages, it started with modest beginnings. In 2020, as COVID swept the globe, Schon was stuck at home. “During the pandemic, there wasn’t much to do,” he says. “I spent a lot of time in my little home studio, learning to play keyboards and making loops. Some of those ideas ended up becoming songs.” In addition to longtime keyboardist and main songwriter Jonathan Cain and singer Arnel Pineda, another member was recruited: the remarkable bassist Randy Jackson, who had played on the album "Raised on Radio" in 1986.
