Description

After reinterpreting the themes of Jennifer Lopez and Mylène Farmer on the piano, Joseph Schiano di Lombo releases the first pieces of his own, intended for our best friends the dogs, whether they are companion dogs, sheepdogs, guide dogs or avalanche dogs. Composed with mischief, mannerism and a certain flair, his first record “Musique de niche” is a mainstream love song not only addressed to dogs, but to all their biped companions. Still on the keyboard, but not the piano this time. Instead, a host of warm, playful and melancholic tones that pay tribute to the virtuosos of tenderness, halfway between subtle ambient and the soundtracks of old-fashioned TV movies. Several episodes from the lives of dogs pass by here: the dreams of puppies, walks in the endless forests of North America, long afternoons of naps in the empty house, not forgetting (because there always has to be a little, after all) a brief advertising page for low price kibble. Joseph thus signs his first EP, also the first in the new “Méditations” series initiated by the label. This limited series will showcase different artists who will offer not music to dance and have fun to, but music to listen to (for once), escape with and dream to. For this first release, Joseph offers an opus intended for our friends the dogs. The all-round artist thus calmly establishes his signature as a delicate entertainer.
