J. Wilson will be the guitarist on the huge tour of Roger Waters with 2 dates at the U Arena. The grand return of one of the greatest American musicians of his generation Jonathan Wilson returns on March 2, 2018, with a third album Rare Birds ambitious and grand on BellaUnion. It features prestigious guests, including contributions from Lana Del Rey, Josh Tillman (Father John Misty), and Laraaji, the long-time collaborator of Brian Eno. Produced by the musician himself at his Fivestarstudios in Los Angeles, the album fits into the unique creative approach of the American songwriter. Rare Birds sees Jonathan Wilson taking up the codes of psychedelia to build soaring sound labyrinths. He uses synthesizers and drum machines for the first time, which complicate his music and make it drift from the California melodies of the 1970s to the English productions of the 80s.
