Description

Programmer, artistic director, founder of a label and a festival, and even a Sound Designer, Jon Onj knows music, but what he loves most is his role as a singer-songwriter and artist. Selected for Les Inouis PACA and programmed for MaMA 2024, Jon Onj returns with his 2nd album, "Tekibama," co-produced with Wiser Records, Wiseband's label. In "Tekibama," Jon Onj reveals his R&B roots and subtly blends his Soul, Funk, and Hip-Hop influences, bringing a modern and sophisticated touch. Jon Onj brought together artists from diverse backgrounds, such as Bastien Nouri on flute on “If you don’t mind,” the promising Liquide Jane featured on “Could you be mine,” and Californian rapper Charles X and Marseilles rapper Soopadoopa on the single “Multibounce.”
