Grease

Description

Pompadours and leather jackets against a 1950s backdrop for the setting. A high school romance between the bad boy John Travolta and the very sexy but far too proper Olivia Newton-John for the plot. Admittedly, the story did not revolutionize the world of cinema, but it is hard to imagine a film soundtrack collection worthy of the name without the essential Grease! The twenty or so tracks that make it up, composed by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, with the participation of John Farrar (The Shadows) and Barry Gibb (Bee Gees), and performed by the two actors (as well as Frankie Valli, Sha-Na-Na and Cindy Bullens), have become cult favorites. To be listened to again and again. Excerpt from the guide "La Discothèque idéale Fnac" 2016
