After writing and performing "Feel The Love" (No. 1 in England) with the group Rudimental (album entered No. 1 in England this week), as well as their second hit "Not Giving In," here he is solo with the release of his first single. "Love me Again" was entirely written and produced by John and it is already a hit across Europe. Top 5 in England, Germany, Spain, and strongly supported in France (top 7 single), on NRJ and all provinces. John Newman (originally from Yorkshire) is 22 years old and moved to London 2 years ago. He started writing and playing guitar at the age of 14 and quickly began recording and producing his own songs, creating his own house tracks and becoming a DJ. Think of the golden age of soul and groove from the Stax and Motown era, add a touch of James Brown and Prince, sprinkle in some Black Keys and mix it all together with a bit of Dangermouse.
