The second album by the legendary jazz-rock-fusion group Tony Williams Lifetime. Founded in 1969 by Tony Williams, former drummer for Miles Davis, this group was born from his desire to merge the influences of modern jazz and rock. After recruiting the legendary British guitarist John McLaughlin and organist Larry Young, Williams recorded the album *Emergency!*. This striking and foundational work divided critics, both in the jazz and rock scenes, but it is now rightly regarded as a pioneering piece.
