Hired during pre-production by director David Gordon Green, Carpenter reprised his role as composer and executive producer, breathing new life into his iconic themes. The trio's work is marked by a natural complementarity: Daniel Davies, nicknamed "the adventurer" by Carpenter, explores new timbres and textures, while Cody structures and channels this abundant creativity. Together, they produced soundtracks that are more complex and varied than the 1978 original, while remaining faithful to its menacing and minimalist atmosphere.
