Description

If the Swedish duo enchanted and intrigued critics from the moment their anonymous first single “JJ n°1” was released, halfway between indie pop and hip-hop, Elin Kastlander and Joakim Benon have moved up a gear with their sumptuous third album V. For Benon, V is the album they have always wanted to record, the culmination of their entire career in music. “We never had any other project than recording V, but at the same time we never clearly knew what it was. It’s a story that came to us.” Adds Benon. Kastlander’s vocal evolution on V is striking, both vulnerable and mesmerizing. For the duo, all their previous productions were necessary steps leading to the Zenith that is V.
