Synthesizers unfurl in delicate layers over Cold Diamond & Mink’s groove. “Tsicroxe,” on the flip side, couldn’t be more different, starting with a demonic organ arpeggio reminiscent of a Dario Argento scene. Even though Cold Diamond & Mink’s familiar funk softens the fright a bit, when Jimi Tenor bursts in with an eerie flute solo, the ritual draws near its conclusion.
