Beck Bogert And Appice

Description

Beck, Bogert & Appice was a super-powerful trio made up of guitarist Jeff Beck (formerly of the Yardbirds), bassist Tim Bogert, and drummer Carmine Appice (both formerly of Vanilla Fudge and Cactus). One of the highlights of the album is Jeff Beck's own version of "Superstition." During the sessions for 'Talking Book', it was guest guitarist Jeff Beck who suggested an opening drum beat, and Stevie Wonder told him to keep playing while he improvised over it, resulting in a worldwide hit. This group was Jeff Beck's attempt to form a power trio like Cream and Grand Funk Railroad. This killer debut album features tracks like 'Lady', 'Livin' Alone', 'Lose Myself With You', and a stunning version of Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition'.
