The Slovak concert organist studied for many years with Jean Guillou and performed the entirety of his works for organ a few years ago during several concerts at the Saint-Eustache church in Paris. The instrument with 5 manuals located there was designed by Jean Guillou in the late 1980s and built by the Van den Heuvel company in 1989. Fortunately, this recording was able to be made on this spectacular instrument.In addition to the symphonic poems of Jean Guillou, Zuzana Ferjencíková has also recorded here all the transcriptions of works by Franz Liszt that Guillou made. Her adaptation of Liszt's "Tasso" is thus available as a world premiere recording.
