GIRASOLES is the ninth studio album by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Jay Wheeler. In what many will see as one of his most personal works to date, it is clear that music is his refuge, this album representing the birth of a renewed version of himself. This moving 15-track album musically illustrates three stages: life's hardships (represented by planting a seed), a period of transformation (growth), and maturity (blooming). GIRASOLES represents the feeling of being stuck, life's challenges, and moments when personal growth seems impossible. However, by maturing over time, overcoming challenges and obstacles, one blossoms into something beautiful.
