On February 12, 67, the song "Call My Name" by James Royal reached the 13th rank of the Fab Forty chart of The Big L, the famous pirate radio station broadcasting off the North Sea.Between 1965 and 1972, James Royal (born Nairm) recorded about fifteen tracks solo or with his backing band The Hawks. A few low-key successes with "She's A Mover" or "Work Song," it was the ballad "Call My Name" written by Ralph Murphy that allowed him to hit the jackpot by becoming in 1968 one of the anthems of the Parisian riots.
