2016 is the year that sees J.K. Rowling invite her fans to dive back into the magical world of Harry Potter. The first film of this new trilogy, "Fantastic Beasts," was produced by David Heyman, the historical producer of the Harry Potter film series, and written by its author, J.K. Rowling. Set in New York in 1926, seventy years before the events of the first films, it follows the journeys of Newt Scamander and his studies of magical beasts. The film's music was composed by James Newton Howard, one of the most important composers in cinema. He has worked on over 70 films including "Batman Begins," "Pretty Woman," "The Sixth Sense," and "The Hunger Games." His song "The Hanging Tree," written for the latter, was a real hit. James Newton Howard has also written and arranged numerous songs for Barbara Streisand, Bob Seger, Cher, Rod Stewart, and many others.
