It's a Man's Man's Man's World

Description

A pioneer of a funk whose echo will forever change the history of music, James Brown is also a crooner and a soul man with a vocal virtuosity as rare as it is powerful. After honing his skills in gospel, James Brown, captivated by the immense talent and charisma of Little Richard, decides to fully immerse himself in rhythm and blues. In the mid-1950s, his new group, the Famous Flames, records their first hit, 'Please, Please, Please', at King Records. By the end of the decade, the band will already have several successes to their name, including 'Night Train' and 'Try Me', which will firmly establish the figure of the "Godfather Of Soul." Discover the early major hits of James Brown on the vinyl reissues of "La Sélection Fnac."
