These arias explore various aspects of the state of love, such as the joy of love or mutual love, but also those moments when a being is possessed by anger, even madness. In addition to tracing the various emotions aroused by the experience of love, 'Facce d'Amore' takes us on a fascinating chronological journey through the Baroque age thanks to composers such as Cavalli, Boretti, Bononcini, Scarlatti, Conti, Haendel, Predieri… The album ends with an aria of virtuosic passion sung by Orpheus and composed by Hasse for the famous castrato Farinelli. Thanks to a superb and striking timbre, impeccable stylistic mastery and extraordinary stage presence (Jakub is also a breakdancer), the young and charismatic countertenor is destined for a glorious future.
