Description

Women + Country is the second studio album by singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan, son of the legendary Bob Dylan and leader of The Wallflowers. The album was released in 2010 and produced by T Bone Burnett. T Bone, who has known Dylan since he was a child, suggested that the two make an album together after the singer played him the song "Nothing But The Whole Wide World." Dylan recorded the album in less than a week in Los Angeles, with T Bone's backing band, which includes Marc Ribot (a frequent collaborator of Tom Waits) on guitar and David Mansfield on violin and mandolin.
