Soul Jazz Records is releasing a Box Set, a limited and exclusive edition for Record Store Day: a collector's box of seven inches, featuring ten superb, rare, and classic funk tracks on five 7" singles housed in a sturdy box. Classic, very rare funk tracks are gathered here in this unique set. This edition includes many exceptional tracks. The very rare Winstons MASSIVE 45 with Amen Brother as well as the soul anthem Color Him Father. A superb piece of funk from Detroit by Jackie Harris, the Latin Strut by Joe Bataan - the best Latin funk track ever made that helped launch Salsoul Records, the rare groove hi-adrenaline funk of Untouchable Machine Shop, and finally a KILLER funk track from New Orleans produced by Eddie Bo with the incredible drumming of James Black in the mix. All tracks have been digitally remastered.
