Eternal Spring

Description

Jack Wyllie, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and co-founder of the Mercury Prize-nominated Portico Quartet, releases his first solo album. Eternal Spring is an immersive and hopeful work, drawing inspiration from contemporary jazz, ambient, classical music, and post-rock. The album, a result of collaborations with Hania Rani, Duncan Bellamy, Milo Fitzpatrick, Dobrawa Czocher, and Lotte Betts-Dean, subtly blends catchy melodies and cyclical rhythms inspired by nature, renewal, and the cycle of the seasons. It was recorded between Saint Thomas Clapton, Studio Richter Mahr, and the London studio Fish Factory.
