Producer and DJ IZCO, hailing from East London, announces the release of his debut solo album, POWERSCROFT, with Brownswood Recordings. The first single, Strike a Pose, featuring Camille Munn, offers a taste of the album. To celebrate its release, he will embark on a UK tour from March to May, culminating in a final concert at the Jazz Cafe in London. Named after the street where he grew up, POWERSCROFT marks a pivotal moment for this artist who has been shaping the sound of British dance music for decades. Drawing from jungle, broken beat, grime, garage, soul, and dub, the album channels the energy of the dance floor while remaining deeply rooted in his memories, instincts, and identity. This documentary captures the very essence of IZCO's universe, a place where thoughts, memories, and influences intertwine. Originating from East London, IZCO is a producer and DJ at the forefront of a new generation that brings fresh soul to the dance floor. Shaped by the rich musical heritage of his hometown, he has developed a sound that is both familiar and innovative, diverse yet distinctly personal. This sound has taken him around the world, from New York to Tokyo, with notable performances at We Out Here, Outlook, and Glastonbury. IZCO began his career producing grime instrumentals for local rappers such as Capo Lee, Novelist, and Reek0, before becoming a key figure in the evolving garage and dance scene. In 2018, he launched his acclaimed show on Rinse FM and released his first EP, Tek 5, which quickly earned him underground recognition. His production credits include the hit track by PinkPantheress, "Passion," created in collaboration with Jkarri, as well as collaborations and remixes for artists like Katy B and Greentea Peng.
