Oceanic

Description

Still under the impetus of Aaron Harris, ISIS continues its reissues: After Panopticon and Celestial, one of the project’s flagship releases, Oceanic, is getting a remastering. “With the remastering of Oceanic I think we saved the best for last. The clarity that has been revealed through these tracks was a surprise even for me. I’ve heard these tracks probably thousands of times. When I listened to the remastered version of ‘Weight’, it was as if I were back in the studio during the recording of the track. I also noticed a lot of new details in Jeff’s bass and in the energy in the guitars. I know that Oceanic is one of the public’s favorites, and I think this remastering will bring a new appreciation even to those who have listened to it a great deal.”
