Based on breathing, muscle relaxation and visualization, sophrology is a discipline derived from traditional Western relaxation and Eastern methods such as Indian hatha yoga, Tibetan Buddhism and Japanese Zen. Sitting or lying down, you follow the voice of the sophrologist, who leads you to focus on yourself and/or on suggested images in order to free your mind from “intrusive thoughts” causing a state of stress. You restore the body-mind balance by releasing areas of bodily blockage. With sophrology, you learn to center yourself, setting aside all concerns related to your daily life. Effortlessly, you relax by focusing on the sensations experienced in “the here and now” and you learn to develop the positive structures of your consciousness. Learning to let go with the activation of the positive makes it possible to see life from a more serene perspective! The originality of this CD is to offer 10 short sophrology sessions that you can do one after the other or separately, depending on the time you have available. Indeed, in our daily life, it is sometimes difficult to find a moment to take a break, so short sessions are more suited to today’s pace of life. In order to benefit from the positive effects of sophrology, regular practice is recommended.
