Kiss Each Other Clean - Vinyle 180 Gr Rose

Description

Kiss Each Other Clean, the fourth album by Iron & Wine, was released in 2011, three years after The Shepherd's Dog, its biggest commercial success to date. The first two albums had been rare and intimate solo records that gave no indication of the direction he would take with the third and fourth albums. Like The Shepherd's Dog, Kiss Each Other Clean is rich in textures, polyrhythmic sounds, and opts for an expansive approach. A group of musicians helps Sam Beam find his sound and realize his vision, including Joe Adamik and Jim Becker (Califone), Thomas Bartlett (Doveman), Stuart Bogie (Antibalas), Rob Burger (Tin Hat Trio), Benny Massarella (Red Red Meat/Califone), Chad Taylor (Chicago Underground Duo), and Matt Lux (Isotope 217). With Kiss Each Other Clean, Sam Beam and his collaborators brought soft rock sweetness, dub reggae textures, and instruments that had not been used on previous albums. Pressed on pink vinyl.
