Five years after "The Final Frontier," Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris' legendary band is back with a double studio album! The highly anticipated new album, "The Book Of Souls," is Iron Maiden's 16th studio album since their eponymous debut in 1980, and after selling over 90 million albums worldwide. Their previous album, "The Final Frontier," released in 2010, was the band's most successful No. 1 album, reaching the top spot in 28 countries, including France where it sold over 60,000 copies. "The Book Of Souls" was recorded in Paris at the end of 2014 with their long-time producer Kevin "Caveman" Shirley, and with 11 tracks totaling 92 minutes, it is Iron Maiden's first double studio album since the beginning of their career. Due to Bruce Dickinson's recent illness, the band has postponed their tour plans but promises to be back on stage early next year, when Bruce has fully recovered his strength to cope with the rigors of Maiden's live performances.
