THE BOOK OF SOULS

Description

Five years after ''The Final Frontier'', the legendary band of Bruce Dickinson and Steve Harris is back with a double studio album! The highly anticipated new album "The Book Of Souls" is Iron Maiden's 16th studio album since their first self-titled record in 1980, and after selling more than 90 million albums worldwide. Their last album, ''The Final Frontier'' released in 2010, is the band's album to have reached No. 1 the most times, in 28 countries, notably in France where it sold more than 60,000 copies. ''The Book Of Souls'' was recorded in Paris in late 2014 with their longtime producer Kevin ''Caveman'' Shirley, and with 11 tracks totaling 92 minutes, it is Iron Maiden's first double studio album since the beginning of their career. Due to Bruce Dickinson's recent illness, the band has postponed its touring plans but promises to be back on stage early next year, when Bruce will have regained all his strength to face the rigors of Maiden's live performances.
