A SENSE OF PURPOSE + THE MIRROR'S TRUTH

Description

In Flames is one of the biggest metal bands in the world, never afraid to push their artistic boundaries and create music that is as catchy as it is powerful. The band, founded in 1990, is considered one of the forefathers of melodic death metal and the founder of the “Gothenburg sound.” They played a decisive role in the development of the Gothenburg scene and laid the foundations for what is now called modern metal, inspiring bands such as Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Bury Tomorrow, Children Of Bodom and countless other artists. With now fourteen studio albums, countless successful tours around the world with artists like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest and Slayer, millions of records sold and a huge fan base across the world, In Flames has proven itself to be an unstoppable force. Since their debut album "Lunar Strain" in 1994, the band has created a distinctive sound with its complex twin-guitar attacks, melodic vocals and superb arrangements that have evolved over the years. 2023 also marks the reissue of groundbreaking titles from the band’s vast catalog, including “A Sense of Purpose” (2008) (15th anniversary edition including the EP “The Mirror's Truth,” which has never been available on vinyl), out of print and highly sought after by old and new Jesterheads (In Flames fans).
