This second EP, Pharos, carries the project's lighter, pop, and more melodious side. More than any artist on the early 90s Black Metal scene, Ihsahn has established himself as an unpredictable maverick. Leader and composer with the legendary Emperor, he rewrote the golden book of extreme and epic music with a series of albums still considered classics today. From In The Nightside Eclipse (1994) to the tour de force of Prometheus: The Discipline Of Fire & Demise (2001). Ihsahn and his unique and liberated musical approach ensured he wouldn't disappoint his fans when he launched his solo career in 2006 with The Adversary. Since his explosive beginnings, Ihsahn has forged his path, leaving behind an incredible catalog.
