The Hidden Hand

Description

"If These Trees Could Talk offers with The Hidden Hand a continuation of their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, while bringing a sense of resolution and maturity. The band manages to evolve its musical language without losing the grounding that has defined its identity since its beginnings. Their approach is based on a highly orchestral construction, notably thanks to the use of three guitars covering the entire sonic spectrum: the bass anchors the low end, the rhythm guitars occupy the midrange, and the lead guitar rises into the highs. This arrangement allows for fluid transitions between clear and heavier passages, reinforcing the cinematic dynamic of their music. The single “Blurry Creatures” perfectly illustrates this aesthetic: intense riffs, epic build-ups, airy atmospheres and syncopated delays combine in a balance between power and atmosphere, the band’s signature."
