Plowing into the fields of love

Description

Formed in 2008, the Copenhagen-based band released their abrasive debut album New Brigade three years later on the XL label. An intense twenty-minute album that brought back into focus post-punk, which had been left behind until then. The band made a splash, and the press praised them in the wake of its release. Two years later, it was on the Matador label that their second album You're Nothing came out, just as energetic and marked by their furious guitars and the captivating rhythms of the bassline. This year, the band returns with Plowing Into The Field Of Love, on which the band seems more restrained. Whereas they once favored urgency and chaos, here they come close to pop while still keeping that new wave / post-punk spirit.
