Akhénaton, DJ Khéops, Shurik'n, Imhotep, and Freeman, between solo albums and cinema, took their time to create this new album, six years in fact, but the effort was worth it. On the menu, IAM continues with the heavy beats that made them successful but does not hesitate to incorporate violins, strings, and electric guitars to give depth to "Revoir un printemps." A pleasant surprise of the album is the multitude of guests: we note the presence of rappers Method Man and Redman on the first single "Noble art," Kayna Samet ("Nous"), and Syleena Johnson ("l'arabisant Ici ou ailleurs"), and especially the very media-savvy Beyoncé, making her debut in the language of Molière ("Bienvenue"). The group continues its sharp critique of an unequal society, while never forgetting to offer hope, as in the eponymous track: "Patience is a tree, whose root is bitter and the fruit sweet."
