A figure of Marseille rap and a representative of the youth from an underrepresented neighborhood, I Am will leave a mark on French hip-hop. After two successful albums, the group returns in 1997 with what will become one of the reference albums of the genre. Inspired by the peak of New York hip-hop, L'École du micro d'argent will shake up the charts and establish itself on the airwaves.
