I Muvrini et les 500 choristes

Everywhere, I Muvrini stroll with the same agility through the rugged beauty of Corsican songs, without allowing themselves to be confined to the clichés of folklore. Their music is alive, dynamic. They advocate for diversity by nurturing it. No one is surprised anymore to have seen them sing with Véronique Sanson (1994), Sting (1998), MC Solaar (2002), or Zulu choirs (2005). No one should be surprised to find them today blending their voices with those of 500 choristers, Tina Arena, Anggun, or Sarah Brightman. Among the dozen tracks selected, eight are new and some are previously unreleased covers; classic titles from the Corsican heritage, songs from their own repertoire, or borrowed from around the world, such as Jacques Brel's Amsterdam or Bruce Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia, or even Veiller Tard (by Jean-Jacques Goldman) which take on enchanting Corsican accents here. All these tracks are sung with the 500 choristers. On March 8, the Muvrini will once again fill the vast space of Bercy, surrounded by their 500 choristers, for the first time on tour in France. Are the 500 choristers from our mouflons the same as those on television? Yes. For the first time, professional artists have traveled to Lorraine, the stronghold of the choristers, to meet them, rehearse alongside them, and of course record. They will all be together on stage for all the dates of the tour (there are currently nearly 6 million choristers across the country!).
