Surviving remnants of La costanza trionfante degl'amori e de gl'odii reveal a theatrical Vivaldi with exceptional emotional mobility, restored through an erudite weaving of sources scattered between Dresden, Berlin, Münster, and Berkeley. This project does not merely gather fragments: it organizes them into a newly readable dramatic organism of sinfonias, arias, choruses, and reconstructed pages, thus allowing the profile of a dramma per musica from Venice in 1716 to resurface with renewed clarity. The result is a philological endeavor of rare distinction, in which archival debris is transfigured into scenic form and documentary dispersion becomes a narrative and memory of Vivaldi's theater. Behind the libretto by Antonio Marchi lies the experimental vitality of early 18th-century Venice.
