The first album by Hurray for the Riff Raff (a.k.a. Alynda Segarra) on Nonesuch, "Life on Earth", is a new beginning for the singer-songwriter. Its 11 new "nature punk" tracks on the theme of survival are music for the end times - songs to thrive, not just survive, as disaster unfolds. The album, recorded during the pandemic with producer Brad Cook (Waxahatchee, Bon Iver, Kevin Morby), will be released on February 18, 2022. Its first single, "RHODODENDRON", "talks about the punk rock attitude of nature and plant life... getting dirty and being in harmony with oneself," explains Segarra, who drew inspiration from The Clash, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Bad Bunny, and the documentary "Blank City" to create "Life on Earth".Buy Life On Earth at the best price
