Howard Shore - A Piano Tribute

Description

To celebrate Howard Shore’s 80th birthday, this tribute album invites you to discover the cinematic genius of the legendary composer like never before. From his scores for The Lord of the Rings to Seven, his masterpieces are celebrated here with the quiet majesty they deserve. Each new arrangement was conceived by Dimitri Soudoplatoff and approved by Howard Shore himself. Bringing these meticulous scores to life is pianist Aurélien Pontier, whose skillful and expressive touch guides the listener through a deeply evocative musical journey. Joined by violinist Nemanja Radulovic, soprano Natalie Dessay and other guests, he offers a rare and stripped-down look at the music that shaped modern cinema.
