Mixed by Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, fun.) and entirely written by How To Dress Well, Care is a sensual alternative pop album that marks a new stage in Krell's production evolution, breaking away from the vaporous R&B of his previous albums Love Remains in 2010 and What Is This Heart in 2014 to assert itself in the more sparkling realm of pop. Composed between Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York, Care reminds us of Tom Krell's writing quality: entertaining, curious, and lively. It is an intimate album influenced by Krell's sweet voice, yet it contains rather loud guitar solos and numerous choruses that could fill stadiums.
