The legendary band Hot Snakes announces their grand return with a new album, the first in 14 years! Throughout ‘Jericho Sirens’, Rick Froberg (vocals and guitar) empathizes with the frustration and ongoing apathy that seem to be a reality in our daily lives. "No matter where you look, there are always people saying the world is about to end. Every movie is a disaster movie. I'm fascinated by that. It's madness, a self-fulfilling prophecy, a snowball effect, like a larsens or my balls on the windshield." Musically, the album explores the extremes of the Hot Snakes sound. The band remains true to their long-standing influences, which can be found in "Six Wave Hold-Down," one of the first compositions of the album (2017). ‘Jericho Sirens’ was recorded in short sessions over the past year, primarily in San Diego and Philadelphia with longtime bassist Gar Wood, Jason Kourkounis, and Mario Rubalcaba.
