Description

2026 marks the release of the group's 4th album, MTNT. This album aims to validate the group and continue working on live performances to develop the project's fan base. MTNT (short for "Mutant") is an album that speaks of transformation, both intimate and collective. The word "mutant" evokes for Horskh the metamorphosis of the body, the technological evolution of our society, artificial intelligences, but also the creative power that drives the transformation of ideas, concepts, and materials. Horskh discusses the transformation of the body and humanity (Twisted Flesh), addressing the issues of prosthetics, hybridization, and hyperhumanity (Hyperhuman). Our personal bodies are in constant change, with possible evolutions (NEW SHAPE), and AI as an extension of ourselves. MTNT also notably tackles mutations around gender, culture, and our nature, which redefine who we are and what we become collectively. Ultimately, it serves as a metaphor for artistic creation: an idea, a work, a life — everything is in perpetual mutation. At its core, MTNT asserts: "I mutate, therefore I am." To transform is our way of existing in a world of constant change. This album is the most extreme and adventurous of Horskh. It is more violent, more melodic, more grunge, more industrial!! Horskh wanted to create a talkative album, in line with many modern metal bands that break down numerous barriers. Horskh has spent an enormous amount of time on each sound, each part, to ensure everything moves in a direction that is both homogeneous and complex. 2026 will also be marked by numerous artistic collaborations for Horskh.
