HOROJO Trio is the rhythm and blues trio that won the award for Best Group at the International Blues Challenge 2020 in Memphis. Drummer Jamie Holmes, singer/keyboardist Jeff Rogers, and guitarist/singer JWJones (who also won the award for Best Guitarist at the IBC 2020) make up a very promising trio of musicians. With several nominations for the Juno Awards, awards at those same ceremonies, and tracks already promoted among the TOP 10 Billboard Blues Charts even before the release of their album! "Set The Record" is their first album. The trio came together during a spontaneous jam session that was so inspired it left both the audience and the trio wanting more. Even before their first concert, blues music media labeled them a "super blues group." The band has played at several major festivals and blues venues, including a top spot on the stage of the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise in January 2022.
