Endless Age

Description

Hollywood Porn Stars is a Belgian indie rock band formed in 2002 in Liège. Barely three months after forming, they made a name for themselves by winning the Circuit competition and quickly signed with the French label Naïve, benefiting from international distribution. Their music combines raw energy, sharp guitar riffs, and melancholic melodies, with influences from bands like Sonic Youth, Pixies, and Nirvana. Although the band was initially active for only six years, it enjoyed a meteoric career, playing more than 300 concerts, releasing two albums and three EPs, and leaving a lasting mark on the European indie scene. Hollywood Porn Stars have performed many times in Belgium’s biggest venues and festivals, such as Ancienne Belgique, Les Ardentes, Pukkelpop, and Dour Festival, and internationally at prestigious events such as Eurosonic, Great Escape, Haldern Pop, Paléo, Les Vieilles Charrues, and Solidays. They notably shared the stage with legends like Primal Scream at London’s iconic Fortress, Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Sonic Youth, and LCD Soundsystem. Their live performances earned them an Octave de la Musique for best live band. In 2025, Hollywood Porn Stars are making their return on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Year of the Tiger, touring the biggest summer festivals in Wallonia and selling out venues. In 2026, the band will release their 3rd album Endless, recorded with reinhard vanbergen (das pop) and mixed by john goodmanson (blonde redhead, nada surf), as well as club dates in Belgium, France, and Switzerland in November. Hollywood Porn Stars remain an essential figure on the Belgian indie scene, celebrated for their unique blend of energetic rock and introspective melodies, and their lasting imprint on the alternative music landscape in Belgium and beyond.
