There is of course "Danser Encore," the title track of this EP, highly contagious, which people have covered all over France and beyond, during flashmobs or gatherings to defend culture and social connection. A song in which HK remains true to himself, joyfully irreverent, rejecting the label of "non-essential" with the poetic flair we have always known him for, defending the idea that music can help heal hearts and souls, and that in times of epidemic, this is no small matter. Because yes, there is something in this record that speaks to us of a different tomorrow, fraternal and peaceful. Its title could almost have been "Rêver encore." In fact, the album ends with a dream, when HK sings to us "Toi et moi, ma liberté," an improbable reunion on the evening of a great storm. For this EP, alongside his historical companions Saltimbanks, HK has surrounded himself with new musician friends, a wonderful team that masters the art of swing, in the tradition of street artists and the hat that spins; when violins, guitars, accordion, sax, and trombone make us get up from our chairs and communicate an irresistible desire to… "Danser Encore"!
