Hilary Hahn, three-time Grammy Award winner, presents Eclipse. For Hahn, the album marks a series of musical milestones, but above all her return to recording after a one-year sabbatical and many other months of artistic solitude away from the stage. "I feel that with this album, we created something beautiful in such difficult times," says the violinist. "After the final chord of the Carmen Fantasy, I felt like I had gone through a huge shift in perspective. Like I had gone through something truly challenging and come out stronger, transformed as a musician, ready for anything." Like the return of light after an eclipse. "Many things can fuel an artistic evolution, but it is often set in motion by major events. I am happy that this key moment is documented here, this arrival, this new musical reunion."
