Keep This Be The Way

Description

Keep This Be the Way is the sixth full-length album by Helms Alee and the first in over three years. Throughout their first five studio albums, the Seattle trio Helms Alee has consistently refined their signature sound—a blend of melancholic siren songs, lush guitar-filled pop, and intricate three-part vocal harmonies that broadly touch on various sub-genres of rock. On their new album, Keep This Be the Way, the band has expanded their palette, creating their most dynamic and technicolor work to date. Guitarist/vocalist Ben Verellen, bassist/vocalist Dana James, and drummer/vocalist Hozoji Matheson-Margullis found solace in their music during the pandemic and set up a makeshift studio in Verellen's workshop, recording the songs with the help of Ron Harrell.
