Description

Busking, Hélène Labarrière (double bass) and Hasse Poulsen (guitar), two musicians, two explorers, two researchers. Improvisation is their vision of the world, an eternal beginning again, a perpetual rethinking. Many years spent together building and dismantling from personal compositions (Les temps changent, Désordre), and today one desire: to continue the adventure differently. Song, a common thread for the two protagonists from the very beginning (“J'ai le cafard” with Violaine Schwartz, a duo with Rodolphe Burger, solo concerts for Hélène, “The man They call Ass,” “Langston Project” for Hasse,) is their new shared playground. Song, a childhood memory in the land of dreams: pearls of French variety, treasures of the American myth, the language of Trier’s country. Song, without words, the strings rub and tangle, for even more intimacy, sharing, with jubilation.
