Description

Heiko Maile and Julian Demarre, both pop musicians and film score composers, have been collaborating since the mid-90s classic "MEANWHILE" by Camouflage. While Heiko continued to search for the perfect pop song, they both landed their first contracts for feature film music. In recent years, as they worked together on several films, they felt the need to create something for themselves - a love letter to the electronic music of the 70s and 80s. With esoteric 70s keyboards from Japan designed for the sound of tomorrow, they have now recorded an album for all the days after tomorrow. The result is the album NEOSTALGIA, a unique blend of various electronic styles and 70s Krautrock with tracks featuring intros/outros, flutes, flanger guitars, and vocoders, and tracks exceeding the six-minute mark.
